Our programs are taught from Turrialba B&B and include immersion programs for children, teenagers, and adults. Our Turrialba location offers excellent room to teach our classes in the center of Turrialba within walking distance to museums and restaurants.

Turrialba Childrens Program
So many American children are studying Spanish in dual immersion instruction classes and are looking for an immersive experience with other Spanish speaking children. So many parents are looking for vacations that add the educational element for their children. Well now is your chance to combine both of those interests into reality with AEC Costa Rica’s year-round children’s immersive program in Turrialba. For ages one to twelve this one-of-a -kind program will give your children an opportunity to communicate directly with local Costa Rican children in a safe and nurturing environment. They will be able to spend time with like aged children with the opportunity if so desired to add additional Spanish classes taught by a qualified Costa Rican teacher, at no extra cost. Choose between a four or an eight hour a day program. Adults can take language classes as well so the whole family can be immersed in a cultural and shared experience.
Spanish For Kids
We offer age appropriate spanish group classes and semi private group lessons based on your childs age and language Spanish language level.
Spanish For Teens
Our teen program specializes in engaging our most mature Spanish students with the language, culture, and activities that Costa Rica has to offer.
Custom Lesson Options
We specialize in customizing lesson plans for each of our clients and will work with you to customize your plan to your needs.
Private lessons
One-on-one private Spanish lessons in increments of 10, 15, or 20 hours per week.
Medical Spanish Programs
Your class can start any Monday that is not a national holiday in Costa Rica. If a National Holiday falls on a Monday, we will start on Tuesday and you will still be able to makeup any Private Lessons that you miss on account of a National Holiday.
Homestays available
Live with a Spanish speaking family while you learn Spanish and employ it with patients and medical staff at our clinic.

Medical Program
AEC Costa Rica’s medical programs are some of the most unique in all of Latin America. After over 20 years of teaching the medical program in Turrialba we have found that one of the most needed aspects for our medical students is more language exposure. We have developed a medical program in Turrialba that combines both the language and medical component directly . A teacher is with the medical student the entire time within a two to five hour per day chosen program. This program can accommodate up to three students assuming their language experience is of similar levels. It is open to all levels of language skills. To find out more about this experience please contact us directly and we can go over what location and medical programs would be the best fit for that individual student.
